Start of the Journey

Start of the Journey
So, here we are, two weird and enigmatic souls, with their small era of life experiences ready to set their pack horse of stories free.

It was seventh standard, almost 8 years after being admitted in the same school, me and my partner Manideepa, finally had the same section and commodious poss
ibilities of knowing each other.
I still remember her innocent timid face getting into the classroom each day after all the students had already selected their benches. We always captured the last benches and I welcomed her saying ‘Brett Lee’ as people in France says ‘Bonjour’. The reason is not very descriptive though.
Our daily gossips were unlike what girls of that ages would go about,
Well it was the age of Justin Bieber and TTIS.
I got a Justin bieber poster from the middle page of first subscribed paper of TTIS (I still regret my JB phase to this day). But the real kicker was that Manideepa didn’t have one as she was absent on that day of school. I was happy, not only because I had a poster of my favorite idol but because I was the only one had it in my friend circle (~˘▾˘~)
Both being Disney piquant, had no deficient topic to argue about and this thing was the perfect recipe for the dish called ''best friends''.

Creating something new

-Manideepa Paul

So years went on and we got graduated from school… *yayyy*

However we were a bit confused about what to do next and so out-of-nowhere came up with an idea of year gap…
Meanwhile I came across a blog of an Indian Youtuber and the relatability quotient was damn too high!!

She wrote about some content which happened with me in the recent past and that’s when it hit me.
{why don’t I start my own blog, I think someone, somewhere out there might have the same experience like me}
Went through a couple of more similar blogs and
THERE WE ARE!!!

Voila!!
And I finally made my mind “I’ll also start a blog of my own, my life is already a joke, so why don’t I share that to bring couple of smiles to people”.
But, as they say “Easier said than done”. The first hurdle that I (well at that time since I hadn’t told Aishani about the idea) faced was about the topic of the blog articles. After a hell lot of brain-storming I kinda came up with some sort of scratch… ugh!

So, now the thing is that I don’t work alone, I needed a partner!
As most of my friends were busy, probably going after their parent’s dream,
The only living soul that came to my mind was Aishani!
Next thing was telling her about it, and this thing with her is that she never disappoints😪
The conversation went somewhat like this:

- Me: Hey
- Her: …
- Me: I am thinking of writing a blog
-  Her: Great!
-  Me: But I think it’ll be better if we do it together. So? U wanna join?
- Her: Babe, I’m in already!
Well as of then we were a team of two :3

“NOW THE WORLD WILL WITNESS WHAT TWO POTATOES WITH A LOT OF FREE TIME CAN ACHIEVE🌚”

Next step was finding a suitable name for our not-so-ready blog.
Names, GOSH did we underestimate them!
so finally we settled with,
*can we have a  drum rolls please*
Editor: This is a blog, you know that right?
*just make that tumbling drum sound*

Editor: sigh..why did I even sign up for this!
TWENTY-ISH.
                                                             *Ta-da*

Next thing was setting up the blog and creating the layout. As easy as it may sound and with almost zero technological knowledge.
It was quite difficult for both of us ☹ But we surely got some real good friends… yayy!!
Our friend (who is reluctant in revealing his name, let us call him the editor) helped us through building up the blog and presenting it to you peeps. The present structure is a great deal of effort of a well-knitted team (yeah! Sure,”well knitted team” -editor).
And we hope you guys like our opinions on day to day experiences, thoughts and adventures.
Because we are new to this, mistakes will be there, some intentional some not so intentional and also this a blog with personal opinions, so take them with some grains of salt…so Until the next time…Adios!

20 Thoughts On Turning 20

-Manideepa Paul With every turn the Earth takes around the Sun, we get a bit older even though it doesn’t really feel like. Some ages seem fun while others seem almost unreal with an added sense of responsibility. Once we hit 20, it's groundbreaking that the teen years are over. We are technically referred to as an adult when really that could be the furthest thing we feel from. We may not be as young as we thought we were and there may be some new thoughts coming up as our 20th birthday approaches. Here's some to really get you feeling like an adult and the 20 years old you are now to be! 1. Goodbye teen years, Hello the 20s! We all remember what it was to be like turning 13 when we couldn’t wait to be officially called a teenager and that probably was the coolest part of our life. But now those years are over and it’s time to embrace the new chapter of our lives. Not to mention, as people have said it before… the twenties will be the best part of our lives.

Knowing the Six strings

- Manideepa Paul “ Anything which the individual does on his own out of interest gives the individual a feeling of productivity, a sense of achieving something and in turn happiness.” This might sound a little too bookish and artful but such was exactly my case when I decided to give a try to learn Guitar! From my very childhood I had a knack and desire for learning guitar but break never befell. Well somehow after around 9-10 years (yes! That long ughh…) the chance finally arrived!. In the fresherman year I started saving up some money and within a month or two I had enough fund for getting my hands on the guitar. Yeah about how I got that much in such a short time is a topic of another time, I’ll list them here sometime later if you wanna too save some money too. Next was how to learn how to play it, yeah i know you can learn anything nowadays from YouTube and other online sources but since I’m waaaay too lazy to do that all by myself , like what if i
